Aleinu strives to help Jewish Communities become closer to Torah and G-d through Sustainability

We at Aleinu pride ourselves on education. Here are some quick descriptions on topics that Aleinu tries to stick by.
What Does It Mean?
CPLA
Crystalized Polylactic Acid, as well as PLA are common compostable materials made of vegetable fibers and starches. The products are renewable, sustainable, and degradable.
Organic
Being organic means abiding by organic farming standards: some of which include, biodiversity and avoiding specific types of chemicals and pesticides.
Compost
Compostable goods are natural materials, like food scraps, biodegradable disposable goods, and other organic materials created by nature. Composting helps break down materials quickly and helps decrease the amount of waste produced.
Plastic Free
Most synthetic plastics waste is non-biodegradable which takes thousands of years to be decomposed or degraded, being a major factor in environmental pollution. Systems like recycling and reusing plastic are not very affective, therefore we at Aleinu try to avoid products that require synthetic materials that can make up or coat products.
Biodegrade
Biodegradation is a natural process by which organic chemicals in the environment are converted to simpler compounds. Materials like plastic consist of a compound that takes hundreds of years to forever to break down.
Affordable
By creating relationships with suppliers, Aleinu can provide special prices that assist in making sustainable more attainable.
